Mark and Mariann would like to take the opportunity not only to congratulate, but also thank the Moselys and Etiwanda White Dorpers on their extreme success. Since we've made the move from wool to meat sheep and the purchase in 2005 of 11 young Etiwanda rams we are simply amazed with their performance. "When breeding conditions weren't as favourable in 2005/06 as we first hoped, and having such young rams joined with a lower % percentage, compared to merino's, we didn't have big expectations. To come away with an 85-90% lambs at foot , in such a dry year, left us both speechless. We're both proud to have an asssociation with Etiwanda 'White Dorpers knowing they have got their finger on the pulse and producing a magnificent animal." Mark and Mariann Orr, Narri Station COBAR NSW 2835
"Etiwanda Dorpers are high yielding, low maintenance and easy care sheep. We are producing excellent quality first and second cross white dorper lambs in pastoral country which are not supplementary fed before reaching market weight. Etiwanda Dorpers provides us with extensive production data and valued customer service" Ben & Liarne Mannix- Joint Winners of the NSW Young Farmer of the Year Award- 2007
"Our use of Etiwanda White Dorpers is one of the most exciting changes to happen in our business. They fit in perfectly with our goal of regenerative land use, are durable and hardy and suit our desire to have a chemical free, family friendly property. In 2005 we used 7 month old Etiwanda rams and marked 95% of lambs last year in extremely dry conditions. To be able to watch the lambs continue to go ahead through a dry, hot summer is testament to the breed and the Etiwanda Breeding" Graham Finlayson Brewarrina, NSW, AUSTRALIA NSW YOUNG FARMER of the Year 2005
