Our annual rainfall is approximately 400mm or 16 inches and has been as low as 4 inches in 2001. It is a hot, dry extensive environment - well suited to the running of White Dorpers and White Dorper cross sheep. You can be assured of animals that are unpapmpered and ready to survive, along with the highest integrity and honesty from the family who run them. Etiwanda White Dorpers currently runs 800 Stud Fullblood ewes.. We are increasing numbers through the use of embryo transfer and natural breeding. We have imported embryos from Dries Weiss “Kasteel White Dorper Stud” for the past three years, implanting over 400 Kasteel embryos in the last two year, we will implant morre Kasteel embryos in 2009 to further add to our genetic base.. We produce large numbers of top quality stud and commercial fullblood breeding rams at realistic prices – (see our FOR SALE page). Etiwanda stock are born and reared under rangeland conditions, the animals are paddock reared and are expected to thrive and multiply with minimum labour input. 
Etiwanda animals are Rangeland Ready! The Etiwanda animals have high fleece shedding ability, are long, well muscled, designed to walk long distances to feed and water, are excellent mothers and produce rams and ewes ready for solid commercial production. We have a zero tolerance policy on any fault that will affect the commercial profitability of the animals and we never sell animals we would not be happy to breed with ourselves. Fullblood stud and commercial rams and ewes are available direct from the property and the Annual Etiwanda On Property Sale is held annually in late Feb/early March. All fullblood animals sold at this sale are presented unshorn so clients can fully asses the fleece shedding ability of the stock. Lambplan data and full pedigree information is available on all sale animals.
