Etiwanda White Dorpers has sourced rams through the use of semen and embryos to add select attributes to the Etiwanda flock. Rams have been selected using Lambplan figures where available and for visual points such as good pigmentation (around eyes and under tail) good muscling, excellent conformation and high fleece shedding ability. We have many young sires coming through from the embryo importation programme and also from our own breeding that will become impact sires over time. |

Here is a lovely soft ram that is a 100% shedder in the summer. Shown here in full winter coat - you can see he carries very little wool cover and has a soft hair undercoat.
C4260 is a trait leader for EMD himself and his mother is one of the Etiwanda Top 50 - she is also a trait leader for EMD. His sire is B3703 - pictured above - he displays the same summer coat as C4260..

He is a grandson of Etiwanda Omloop A3313 (pictured above) and does not carry much wool during winter. Structually correct and showing heaps of potential - we are quite excited about this young ram.

The genetics shine through in this new sire for 2010 - his sire,C4260 and his grandsire, B3703 are both pictured above. This young ram has quality genetics stacked up in his pedigree with his granddam (053500) being a clean shedding Etiwanda Top 50 ewe and packed in there as well is Etiwanda Omloop A3313 - who is also a slick coated ram - see above pic. Add to this an impressive set of ASBV's and he has the potential to be a top breeding sire. Can't squeeze much more quality into this young chap!!
